Overview
There are currently 12 Working Papers being prepared by the six Learning Groups as described below. Together, these Working Papers are intended to share existing learning in relation to research and practice with regard to the development of programs aimed at promoting respect for ethnic diversity among young children. As such they are intended to provide a valuable resource for researchers and practitioners working in this area.
Working Papers are currently being uploaded to this page and will appear as links to downloadable PDF files below when available. For Working Papers still to be uploaded, brief summaries are provided.
Learning Group Working Papers
Program Development Working Group:

- A Programmatic Framework for Early Childhood Organisations Developing Programmes in Conflict Affected Regions (Una Working Paper 9) (PDF, 635KB)
- The second paper will build upon the first by mapping how the programmatic framework outlined in Working Paper 9 might be applied in practice in relation to a number of case studies of conflict affected regions around the world.

- Children's Rights in Cultural Contexts (Una Working Paper 8) (PDF, 545KB)
- The first Paper will provide an overview of the broader economic, political and social contexts within which the early childhood sector operates by outlining the nature of social change and the factors that influence social change and their subsequent impact upon early childhood provision.
- The second Paper will focus more specifically on a range of issues and challenges facing those wishing to sustain and enhance the delivery of existing early childhood programs that promote respect for ethnic diversity.
